We can build this wheelset in 26", 27.5 (650b), or 700c / 29'r.

These wheels are hand built in our shop! They arrive to you trued, tensioned, and ready to ride! Please allow us a build time of approx 2-4 weeks after purchase to secure parts and finish the build.
The Velocity Cliffhanger rim is tubeless-ready or you can use inner tubes. With a 30mm outer width and a 25mm inner width these rims are perfect for tires that are 32mm up to 65mm (1.25" to 2.5"). Short stout sidewalls protect against pinch flats and denting from impacts. Tubeless rim tape fo 24mm to 30mm wide is recommended even if you are using inner tubes.
The Sapim 'Strong' spokes are extremely durable with a thicker 2.3mm diameter at the J-Bend of the spoke (where most breakage occurs) and 2.0mm throughout the rest of the length. These spokes are rated at 1,600,000 cycles before failure compared to 980,000 cycles of a traditional double butted spoke. Brass spoke nipples are used for durability.
These rims are machined for rim brakes, but the hubs are also compatible with centerlock disc rotors if that's the route you'd like to go!
The hubs come with covers for the rotor mounts if you'd like to cover those up.
